Sweet little hand built faux tea light holder, made from pure Scottish ‘wild clay’ hand foraged and processed in the foxed studio.

This particular clay comes from a small waterfall in a forest at the foot of hills, gathered in a very small batch.
This little, weathered look, faux tea light holder makes a lovely addition to any shelf or mantelpiece either as a unique gift for someone special or for yourself.
'Airidh' is the Gaelic for shelter or shieling.
A small building often used in the summer where the farmer and the family would take cattle to graze on common land.
Shielings were used in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, Ireland and the moors and hills of Northern England.
Inspired by the people and places in Stornaway, Western Islands, Scotland.
